Thank you to everybody for helping your child be ready to start school at 8:50 – it really has made a difference.

We hope that our Parent and Carer Workshop sessions for supporting your child with their maths proved very helpful.

The East Anglican Daily Times are running a campaign with Lego Education and we shall be collecting the tokens in the school. The Books for School campaign earned the school £100 worth of books – so your effort in collecting the tokens really is appreciated.

Achievement Awards for 11.02.19:

Rabbits – For his excellent progress in reading and writing

Squirrels – For his careful research about pandas

Badgers – For his intricate design and construction of a Maya temple

Owls – For challenging himself when using different tenses in English.

Rabbits are reproducing cave paintings.

The Squirrel Class will be writing information texts about pandas.

Badger class are researching and making reports about everyday Maya life.

Owls are continuing our learning about percentages and beginning our study on Ancient Egypt. The Friends are pleased to present the school with six new laptops this week. Our next event is a Tea Afternoon on Friday 29 March. Sheree Morris, Chair

The booking sheets for Parents Evenings are available from Monday 04 February – just pop into the school office.

In this wet weather a change of footwear is brilliant. We do try to limit the ‘mud effect’ in school by encouraging the children to come off the grassy areas.

As part of the Tractors in Schools outreach we are looking forward to having a tractor from the Euston Estate in school on Thursday.

Birds from the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary will be in school on Thursday too.

The after school PE clubs are held 3:20 to 4:20: Please note the collection time. Children should be collected from the Squirrel class door rather than the reception. Letters about the new after school sports clubs will be sent home next Monday.

Last Splat club is on Wednesday 13 February.
