A gentler week ahead?

Kagera Day was great fun last week. The children took part in a number of activities: Food, Education, Music, Clothing and Toys. Their reflections included: ‘Amazing!’; ‘I wonder how they do this?’; ‘I really enjoyed doing the workshops, because it was brilliant and I found it fun. Thank you.’ I had some wonderful responses from the Kagera team: Your children are respectful and courteous which is lovely to see and it was one of the nicest school visits we have had.’  http://www.cofesuffolk.org/world-mission/kagera

Achievement Awards for 05.11.18:

Rabbits – For her super effort with counting and recognising numbers

Squirrels – For working hard in all of her maths lessons and listening carefully to apply concepts

Badgers – For his working with a younger child on the Kagera day

Owls – For writing a detailed play script in his English lesson.

This week the Rabbits are learning about addition in maths.

In the Squirrels class we are making maps of our journey to school.

Badger class are investigating which materials are best for communication in science (telephones etc)

Owls will be undertanding the meaning of words in context and using expanded noun phrases.
