A short but full week


The governing body is pleased to announce the appointment of Miss Petch as the new KS1 class teacher. With an interest in horse-riding and rock-climbing and a specialist in maths and science, we are certain that Miss Petch will be a great asset to our school. Miss Petch will be joining the Squirrel Class for the transition afternoons.

New building and trim trail in evidence in school.

Y6 SATs are in the week commencing Monday 13 May. Please ensure that all children are in school promptly.

Achievement Awards for 07.05.19:

Rabbits – For his fantastic defending skills in football

Squirrels – For settling in well to his new class and his lovely manners.

Badgers – For the care and attention in her art lessons.

Owls – For asking some carefully considered questions in her science lesson.

Rabbits are designing and making egg carton minibeasts this week.

The Squirrel Class will be taking part in time activities in maths.

Badger class are using OS maps to find Anglo Saxon place names.

Owls are calculating missing angles in diagrams and continuing their local history project in topic.
