Why should we trust people?
- If we fall down there will be someone there
- The world would be unhappy if we didn’t
- They might be able to help you
- If you don’t trust then they might say that they don’t want to be your friend – [We discussed this as a class afterwards – possible bullying issue or misunderstanding friendships]
- If you didn’t, you’d be lonely
- You wouldn’t know what to do
- If you don’t they might not like it
- You should trust the teachers to keep you out of danger
- If you didn’t trust anyone it would be boring
- Because we love them.
When should you not trust somebody?
- If someone is mean or naughty (2)
- If you trusted someone before and they broke your trust
- People you don’t know on games
- If they hurt you (2)
- If they hurt your feelings (2)
- Let you down

How could we help people to trust?

- Be kind (2)
- Don’t talk behind their backs
- Be positive
- Don’t tell other people’s secret
- Trust them – show them how to trust
- By saying sorry
- Helping them
- Not hurt them
- Try to help them make friends
- By giving them information
- By saying that others can share your things
- Help them to get out of a big hole.
