Frost and snow melted, rain appeared briefly – But nothing can dampen us!

Our focus value for our Collective Worship this half term is Trust and our Keeping Children Safe in School theme is On Line Bullying. This week is Safer Internet Day – and the children will be learning how to keep safe online at school and at home.

 Happy Chinese New Year!

There will now be a collection box in the reception area of the school for the Thetford Foodbank based at the Charles Burrell Centre. Currently 1 in 5 of the UK population is living below the poverty line. Needed goods include: sugar, fruit juice, soup, pasta and sauces, toiletries, cereals, T bags, coffee, rice, treats… When you can, please drop in a donation.

Please note that school starts at 8:50 and children should be in school to start their learning at that time. If your child is absent, our Attendance Policy asks you to call the school as quickly as possible. The Education Welfare Officer is currently monitoring the low attendance and number of children arriving late.

The East Anglican Daily Times are running a campaign with Lego Education and we shall be collecting the tokens in the school. The Books for School campaign earned the school £100 worth of books – so your effort in collecting the tokens really is appreciated.
