Pupil Parliament Meeting


Meeting: 31.02.19

  1. The Pupil Parliament met today to discuss the Pupil Parliament awards and certificates.
  2. They decided to present five awards for a range of subjects, such as showing perseverance and change in attitude, always looking happy in school and to our PE Coach for making his lessons such fun. The certificates will be awarded on Monday at the Celebration Assembly by the Pupil Parliament chair.
  3. The Worship Council representative asked the Pupil Parliament what they thought of the new look prayer hands. Members agreed that they liked the new style as they were more active and fun. One person expressed concerns about older children getting too forceful with the shake. Mrs Parr to monitor.
  4. The Learning Council explained that they are creating posters to encourage perseverance around the school.
  5. In the School Council, the children have suggested that the Friendship Stop is changed from its’ current position (too close to the Badger football pitch) to the circular bench.
  6. Our JRSO’s are currently making a checklist to keep safe on the roads – different for different years.
  7. Next meeting: Football (postponed due to lack of time this session).
