We met on Friday 29 April to discuss the progress by the Worship Council so far this year.
The council were very pleased with the range of worship songs and wondered which songs were the most popular in the school. The council decided to create a PowerPoint for a Collective Worshipto talk about what they talk about and to consider how the school could help to make changes to the worship. We will also make a register of who takes part in the Open the Book and prayers.
An Easter prayer written by a Y5 pupil.
E is for Easter Sunday – Yours and our celebration of life and new beginnings.
A is for Amen – sealing all of our Easter prayers together.
S is for Sunday – where Holy Week starts and ends.
T is for Tomb – where Jesus shall not remain.
E is for Everlasting – Your love will always be in our hearts at Easter and every day.
R is for Re-live – Your son came back to life to live with God once more and to protect us.
Amen
