We hope that you had an enjoyable half term break. Welcome back to the school. Please read the latest newsletter for more information.
Our focus value for our Collective Worship this half term is Generosity and our Keeping Children Safe in School theme is Road Safety. For personal reasons, Mrs Duncan will not be in school for a short period of time. Miss Garland and Mrs Morris will be providing cover. Miss Garland is happy to meet with parents and carers who were due to meet Mrs Duncan for Parents’ Evening – please contact the school office to rearrange. The office is selling poppies, slap bands etc for the British Legion. We are aware that some children are arriving unaccompanied in school before 8:45. Please remember that the staff are outside from 8:45 only. We have had some issues in the playground about inappropriate behaviour. It is cold, wet and damp – so please check that your child is suitable dressed for the weather. We are aware that the damp weather has created the perfect growing conditions for mushrooms and toadstools. Please talk to your child about not handling these and keeping safe. Please Note: Y6 SATs will be in the week commencing 11 May 2020.
Hot chocolate, treats and fun for our last three days in school. We have been super impressed with the children’s behaviour and manners this year. Our Around the World display looks amazing – thank you! Next year we are going to explore books – comics, non-fiction, poetry, fantasy, science fiction… Have a great summer and we look forward to greeting you on Wednesday 04 September!
