Planning for this half term

This half term we will be continuing our topic of ‘Stone Age to Iron Age and in our literacy we will be writing a letter of complaint about a shoddy flint tool, some persuasive advertising, a diary recount of a mammoth hunt as well as the daily SPAG and handwriting exercises. As mathematicians we will be revising the core skills and applying them in practice papers. As scientists our focus is electricity. In history we are designing and building a Mesolithic house and have a visiting archaeologist coming to talk about archaeology in Suffolk. Judaism is our world religion to study this half term. Mr Valentine from Thurston Community College will be teaching the class French each week for the foreseeable future. We will continue to have PE outside on a Monday and Thursday, so please could you ensure that your child has their PE kit in on these days and that they are named. Ms McDonnell and Mrs Parr
