The Year 5 and 6 pupils of Barningham CEVC Primary School have been reflecting on the Easter story in RE. They thought about the different ways in which we sin and fail to keep God’s commandments. At Easter we bring our failings and weaknesses to God to ask for forgiveness and the strength to change for the good.
The children have highlighted key issues and placed them on large purple crosses. These are going to form part of the display in the church.
- Issues include:
- fear
- crimes
- criticism
- bad news
- car crashes
- being rejected
- health
- weather
What would you bring to Jesus?
