SIAMs
As a Church of England school we are inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). In our most recent SIAMs inspection in May 2025, we were graded as Living Up to our foundation as a Church school. A summary of the school’s strengths from the report are outlined below:
Barningham Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.
- Our deeply embedded Christian vision and values, which underpin all decision-making and foster a strong, inclusive and caring school culture.
- Compassionate leadership and excellent relationships across the school community, particularly in the way we support pupils with additional needs.
- The value placed on collective worship as a time for spiritual reflection and shared community identity.
- A culture of justice and responsibility, empowering pupils to take action through leadership roles on the Faith, Learning, and Future World Councils.
- High-quality Religious Education, which enables pupils to explore a wide range of beliefs and to understand Christianity as a global and multicultural faith.
